• 1st Polish-Finnish Symposium on Functional Sol-Gel Materials (with the Sol-Gel Materials and Nanotechnology Center of Excellence)

In 2004 we organized:

• 3rd International Conference on Sol-Gel Materials, Wrocław 2004,
• Seminar Technologie Recyklingu Tworzyw Sztucznych (in Polish).

The Summer School of Fracture and Fatigue Mechanics devoted to young scientific workers and engineers employed in industrial enterprises is organized biennially in June (beginning with the Eight School in 2003) in accordance with an agreement between the Karpenko Physico-Mechanical Institute (PhMI) of Ukrainian Academy of Sciences in Lviv, the Dresden University of Technology and Wrocław University of Technology.

The scientific program and supervision of schools is conducted by Prof. W. W. Panasyuk (Karpenko Institute), Prof. Z. Sähn (Dresden Technical University) and Prof. W. Kasprzak (Wrocław University of Technology).

Dr.Eng Mieczysław Szata supervises the organizing committee.

Lectures delivered during school terms are issued in special publications.
